Introducing the company
We are a wholly owned subsidiary of GETREIDE AG, and we work closely together with our parent company to maintain an intensive exchange with our rapeseed and grain suppliers locally and all over the world!
This collaboration led to the creation of the most extensive rapeseed crush facility with included refining capacity in Rostock, North-East Europe, with a crush capacity of approximately 1 million tons.
We focus primarily on producing premium-quality oils for food production. But even eco-friendly raw materials for fuels and lubricants come from our company. Lecithin and protein components, valuable by-products of our refinery processes, are essential for food production.
It’s our top priority to ensure sustainability, quality, and safety – for the well-being of our teams and customers.
This is what we stand for

Responsibility, quality, and commission out of conviction
We fulfill our social responsibility daily: We recognize our social obligation and offer financial aid to social establishments, organizations, and global development projects. We collaborate with universities, technical colleges, and foundations to facilitate the education of young people.
Quality as our guiding principle: We give top priority to quality and responsibility for people. Therefore, it goes without saying to us to achieve and to live up to the most demanding quality standards. As an example, we are certified in accordance with the demanding standards IFS and GMP+, we satisfy sustainability specifications of the specific current standard procedures (EU-REDcert and ISCC documentation) and commit to comply with ethical, social, and environmentally relevant principles in our work (CSR).
We are environmentally conscious by conviction: As a company that comes from an agricultural background, we have been assuming responsibility for our environment for generations. We are constantly striving to produce in a sustainable, clean, resource-saving and energy-efficient manner. We succeed in doing this a little better every day by constantly investing in modern facilities and new technologies. With the help of innovative solutions, we are reducing CO2 emissions – for a future worth living for generations to come.
Consciously sustainable management: Our responsibility goes beyond our production site and extends over the entire supply chain. Within the limits of our possibility of influence, we attach importance to devise our products’ life cycle within the sense of sustainable management. In this context, compliance with our human rights due diligence is our top priority at any times.

Prepared for the future!
Innovative and flexible. Established in 2006 under the leadership of Peter Rothe, Power Oil Rostock has grown into one of the largest privately owned oil crushing plants in Germany. As a part of the GETREIDE AG group, it continues to benefit from longstanding trade links with both the agriculture industry in Northern Germany and international trade partners. Thanks to our ongoing investment efforts, we have gradually expanded and modernised our production facilities, which has enabled Power Oil Rostock to react flexibly, efficiently, and reliably to changes in market requirements. With our optimal logistic connection via railway tracks and direct access to the sea through our own wharf, Power Oil Rostock is confident that we are fully prepared for any future requirements.
