Rapeseed is among the most critical renewable sources of vegetable protein and oil. At our oilseed crushing facility, we extract premium rapeseed oil by pressing and refining the rapeseed. The refined oil is then marketed, along with feeding stuff and technical oil. By-products of this process include rapeseed meal and lecithin.

Refined rapeseed oil

Undesirable odorous, gustatory, and colourant substances are removed from the raw rapeseed oil in several steps to produce refined rapeseed oil. This process results in a premium and versatile edible oil with excellent nutritional benefits.

Our oil contains a high content of alpha-linolenic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid, and a significant proportion of monounsaturated fatty acids. The oil is primarily processed for human consumption but is also used as animal feed or technical oil.
Our edible oil is suitable for frying, stewing, and even refining salads. It is also offered as chip oil with a buttery flavour. In addition to our in-house brand PORA, we also cater to major customers by providing customized bottling services.

Such edible oil is supplied to our clients in the food and trade sectors via road tankers, IBCs, flexible tanks, and palletised small containers. The product is obtainable in sustainable, kosher, halal, or VLOG varieties.

Raw rapeseed oil

Following additional preparation steps, the raw, deslimed rapeseed oil is used as environmentally friendly replacement of fossil artificial, lubricant and fuel substances. A precursor of a Co2-neutral fuel.

Raw rapeseed oil, rich in unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, has value beyond its technical uses and is also an important feedstuff in Norwegian salmon farming. This feedstuff has been certified to meet GMP+ demanding requirements.

When producing raw rapeseed oil, we adhere to the sustainability requirements of the current EC directives, which we document with our certification under the EU-REDcert system.

We supply our main customers by road tankers, ships, or railways, but flexible tanks are also a viable option.

Rapeseed meal

Rapeseed meal is produced as an additional item and is sold as a high-quality protein food for cattle, pigs, and poultry. This meal is a non-GMO protein source for compound feed production and is certified to comply with the rigorous regulations of GMP+. If required, we also provide our meal as VLOG products. Deliveries are mainly by ship, but also by lorry.

Lecithin

Another high-quality by-product that we produce is lecithin. Due to its exceptional emulsifying properties, it enhances the quality and nutritional value of animal food, as well as allowing for easier processing and longer storage life of food items, such as margarine, salad dressings, ice cream, and chocolate.

Premium quality proteins are available for the feeding of cattle, pigs, and poultry, in addition to pure lecithin tailored for the aquaculture industry.
